Automated Temperature and Humidity Monitoring System

  This was a project I started in the summer of 2021 to help one of my friends limit food waste in his restaurant. He mentioned how much meat they throw out every day due to poor temperature monitoring, so I built a lightweight module that automatically takes temperature and humidity readings at a given interval and exports them to a server for analysis. This module can be placed in food containers at the restaurant to save their employees from having to manually take readings every 4 hours. Instead, they would be able to view the readings on a tablet in the kitchen and receive notifications if the values exceed set thresholds. I built the prototype for this project and have done some initial validation in my own fridge, but I have not yet piloted it in his store.
